Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) is an art museum located in Midtown Manhattan in New York, on 53rd Street between Fifth and Sixth Avenues. He was extremely important for the development and collection of modern art, and is often identified as the museum of modern art's most influential in the world. The collection provides an excellent overview of modern and contemporary art, including works of architecture and design, drawings, paintings, sculpture, photography, graphics, picture books, art books, films and the electronic media.
MoMA Library and Archives hold over 300,000 books, artist books and magazines, as well as individual files on more than 70,000 artists. The archives contain the raw materials for the history of modern and contemporary art. There is also a fine award-winning restaurant, the modern, which is managed through Alsace-born chef Gabriel Kreuth.
MoMA's collection includes Vincent van Gogh's "Starry Night (1889) and Claude Monet's Reflections of Clouds on the Water Lily (1914-1926), with recent works by the greatest artists of our time. The museum also has a plan Asset extraordinary exhibitions. MoMA Design and Book Shop and enjoy the elegant restaurants and cafes.
